When the Canada Revenue Agency conducts an audit, they are represented by an auditor who is an accountant. That auditor, however, is supported by and has access to the legal knowledge, experience, and talent of the more than 250 tax lawyers employed by the federal Department of Justice. Furthermore, when the Canada Revenue Agency appears before the Tax Court of Canada, they are always represented by a qualified tax lawyer.
